I started shooting street photography as a response to my curiosity about the way in which human interactions happen and how they are experienced by the individuals involved and by those around them.
I try to capture, through the images I produce, meaningful snapshots of the fleeting events that take place around me, as single image narratives, to then be experienced by those who were not present when they happened.
These are situations, that generally happen by pure chance and which tend to pass unnoticed by the individuals involved, but which are, in many cases, charged with an intense emotional load.
My presence, though undocumented in my images, also has a leading role in shaping them as I am the one choosing and composing these scenes through my viewfinder, turning them into expressions of my own specific context, emotions and personal circumstances.
