During Easter I finished my 3D piece in wire and acetate, with the images from one of the performances that I had done at the Walcot Chapel.
When I had applied originally to take part in the different initiatives that were due to be happening during the Fringe Arts Bath 2018 festival, I had wished that I had finished this piece so that I could include it in one of them, possibly the “Darkness and Light” one, so I thought that applying for the Open Prize with this piece would be a way of trying to get it into the Festival after all the other deadlines had already elapsed.

I sent my application through their online submission system and was pleased to receive an email saying that I had been shortlisted.
I was very excited on the day of the opening, as I had both been wanting to participate in this festival and exhibit in 44AD for some time, so I was ticking both boxes with this exhibition!
